I finished my leaf shawl. Here are pics as it was blocking out…for those of you who have never experienced the magic of blocking a pile of wet wool into something beautiful like this…get thee to your nearest yarn shop!!!!!

I used a lace weight one-of-a-kind hand dyed wool with size 5 needles. it went fairly fast until the end…I was getting really really tired of it by the time I finished. I bought myself a  new lace shawl pattern and some baby alpaca yarn to make it in…yummy! Gonna force myself to finish my cabled riding jacket before I start that project.

Come on all you knitters/crocheters/needle workers…let’s see your stuff!!!!!

Christina, add me knitting category please.

Beautiful piece of art!! Just like the rest of your work.

    Category added. :)

I changed the category. I made it arts and crafts instead of just knitting. I can crochet but can’t knit, so we don’t need a knitting category. LOL I’m kidding. I just know that you do far more than just knitting so figured I’d make the category a little broader for you. Enjoy….

This is awesome! I wish I had access to a yarn shop like you! Just finished the ghost dog on the way to IL. Will either post or send pics of Sofia wearing it.
