I emailed you back again this morning. It immediately came back as undeliverable :( . Here’s what I said though…

I would like more jewel toned whatevers!!!! Oh and anything cowboy western
or pink/green roses if they have that. I’m fixing to start on those needle
cases within the hour. I’ll post pics on Mommycity. I hope you are sharing
the links to your new-found celebrity with friends and family :)

I’m labeling Nana one as one of my “Enablers”. She’s feeding my fabric addictions…and I don’t mean in a bad way lol! (Jack is my yarn  enabler…you’d think he’d say “Enough already” but instead he points and says…”Hey look! There’s a box of yarn!”)

I got a package from her yesterday with this in it….WOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

Here she is at my mom’s Memorial with the Grandma Quilt I made for her

Nana…I tried to email you but it bounced back :P Thanks again for the fabric!

It finally snowed late last night. I wanted to go out walking in it this morning. Good thing I took my camera…darn stuff melted off by noon :(

Last Saturday Jack and I went to a craft show at the Senior Center on Hancock.

My friend from knitting, Charlys, had a booth and I wanted to go see her stuff. She has Parkinson’s Disease and knitting helps keep her tremors down. She brings her work in for show and tell and I decided a long time ago if she sold some AND IF I could AFFORD it, I would BUY SOMETHING! She had the purse I lusted after for sale for $25 so it is now mine….I have a shawl that matches it weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

I saw some of my other knitting friends too…in order of appearance…Cindy, Sandy and Miss Betty

I got my picture drawn too….

Michele…email me your address so I can send you your gift :P Sorry it’s not a doofy hat…maybe next time

In order to jog your memories on your coincidence stories…I hereby announce the following contest…

The first three people who post their coincidence story (as a comment of course) on today’s blog or yesterday’s blog….will win a handmade gift from yours truly…if that don’t get you thinking what will lol?

I just read Christina’s blog about the baby’s name: Kenny calling her up and suggesting Savannah AFTER she has already thought of it…That qualifies as a synchronistic coincidence (see the book Incredible Coincidence the Baffling World of Synchronicity by Alan Vaughn)

Here’s what Wikipedia says about it:

Synchronicity is the experience of two or more events which are causally unrelated occurring together in a meaningful manner. In order to be synchronous, the events should be unlikely to occur together by random chance.

The concept does not question, or compete with, the notion of causality. Instead, it maintains that just as events may be grouped by cause, they may also be grouped by their meaning. Since meaning is a complex mental construction, subject to conscious and subconscious influence, not every correlation in the grouping of events by meaning needs to have an explanation in terms of cause and effect.

In order to be synchronous, the events should not be causally connected— one should not be the cause of the other, and they should not have an apparent underlying cause.

Similar things have happened to me…like the time I was learning a song called Fiddler’s Green and received a piece of mail FROM Fiddler’s Green.

I’m asking that you all post a coincidence that has happened to you as a comment to this blog…please and thank you! (Christina I need a different one from you…no using the Savannah story again lol)

I went outside to check for another nice sunrise…imagine my surprise when I saw this…..

Where are my mountains :( SOMEBODY STOLE MY MOUNTAINS!!!! It usually looks like this:

WEll guess what was in those clouds? SNOW!!! Jack called at 8AM and said he was comin home coz it was bad at the job….here we are leaving for breakfast

I woke up to this beautiful sight this morning and decided to share it with everyone…ENJOY!

I have been BUSY BUSY BUSY…I have been sewing, knitting and some other stuff too. That’s why I haven’t been online much lately. Winter is fast approaching and I’ll be around more (probably).

Here is a short list of what I’ve accomplished lately

1) I made myself a blue hat out of some of the yarn I bought in Kansas on my way back from Illinois

2) I got the evil quilt blocks assembled and a border put on. I think I’ll go with the chili pepper fabric for the back if I can’t find anything else I like better this weekend.

3) Working on gray knee socks to wear with a couple of skirts

4) The blue crazyquilt is done except for the sleeve on the back to hang it and a few more buttons to hold it together

5) Cotton Yosemite Sweater from Knitty.com coming along nicely…I had this yarn in my stash from a Goodwill find….Wow I am seeing a blue theme develop here!

6) My stupid stupid cabled jacket is going to be too small….grrrrrrrrrr! I am determined to finish it. I’ll probably give it to my friend Vickie (she was here when my mom died)

So now you know about 1/2 of what I’ve been up to. More later…..

How do you help someone heal? You make them a video! Just be sure you know where your pick is BEFORE you start :P
