I was just thinking of a few stories but I’d thought about waiting since I’d just read and commented on some of Chris’s posts… but if you’re gonna bribe us and all …
I think my most recent “coincidence” maybe… Monday morning Patrick woke up earlier than usual. He has bad acid reflux and had to get up to take something for it. Normally I’d go back to bed but he was in a lot of pain and I woke up thinking about Chris, oddly enough. She’d been having a lot of contractions lately and I was worried about her being home without Kennie, so I got up with Patrick and there was a new message on my Yahoo messenger “Are you there? I think I’m in labor!!” I just knew I’d missed her! But I took a chance and replied and sure enough, she was still there and had just sent that first message!
So I got to talk to her in the wee hours of the morning before Savanna decided to show up
Another:
I didn’t know if this could be considered a coincidence, but we’ll see.
I’m writing a book as part of a contest called NaNoWriMo and wanted to ask my brother-in-law to draw some of my characters for me. He’s a trucker too and when he was home a few weeks ago I let him read what I’d written so far. Wednesday night he called and said “I hope it’s ok but I’ve been thinking about your book a lot and I drew one of the dragons. I wanted to know if I could draw the rest but I need more details.” I couldn’t help but laugh. I told him that I’d been thinking about that too and just a few days ago had thought about asking him if he would hand-draw the map and characters for me
I don’t know if either of those actually pass as coincidences, but they’re kinda interesting happenings anyway lol.

Well that’s garbage!! She used mine! I was thinking about this last night and about the fact that Michele, Ken and Ken’s mom were all awake early on Monday. *sigh* Oh well.
Get a doofy hat!!! You’ll be the talk of Virginia. LOL

Is the contest over? I’m slow. This is kind of lame, but at work today I found myself saying, “Hmmm, that’s a coincidence. I could enter this in the contest.”
A customer had just signed up for online banking and after logging in, she called to say someone else’s account was showing in addition to hers. So after investigating, I informed her that it was her son’s account and since her name was also on the account, it would show when she logged in. She had forgotten her name is on the account. After hanging up with her, I noticed they both had the same dollar amount in the thousands for a balance. Only the cents was off. I thought that was kind of neat.

Wow – That is pretty neat IMO. Probably not often that something like that happens.

Alrighty – I finally have one. I just bought an iPod on eBay. It’s coming from Hong Kong so I had to deal with the exchange rate. It started off by saying my purchase would be around $18, but by the time they looked at the current exchange rate, it came out to $14.88. I was also going to bid on some new stylus pens for Christian’s Nintendo DS. I needed 99 cents for that particular auction. After they removed the $14.88 from my PayPal account, guess how much was left. Yep… 99 cents.
